Deni Pifer was finishing her M.B.A. at Winthrop University at the time of her mother’s death from cancer at her young age of 51. During this time, she took an elective course in Estate Planning and was instantly intrigued with the idea of helping people going through life’s biggest tragedy – the death of a loved one. She graduated from the University of South Carolina and became a member of the SC State Bar in 1997 an a member of the North Carolina State Bar in 1999. She opened the Law Office of Deni C. Pifer, P.C. in 2003, married her husband Bobby in 2004 and have since had a son and a daughter. In addition to NC and SC State Bar Associations, Deni’s professional memberships include The American Bar Association (Member, Trust and Estate Law Section), Charlotte Estate Planning Council, Mecklenburg County Bar Association (Member, Estates, Trusts and Probate Law Section), National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, Queens University of Charlotte Instructor, CFP Estate Planning Course, 2004 & 2005; and Member of Planned Giving Advisory Committee at Wingate University.
Malisa Coleman has a degree in business management and has lived in Charlotte since 1996. Prior to joining the firm, Malisa was in in the healthcare field for 10 years, 7 of which in management. Originally from Wilmington, NC, Malisa has 3 children and enjoys the outdoors - running, hiking and the beach.
Beth Lee is a key part of our estate administration team. She holds a BA in Finance and Marketing from St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Prior to arriving at the firm, Beth was a Vice President and Manager in NationsBank’s Corporate Trust Group, where her responsibilities included pensions, profit sharing plans and corporate securities. Beth is married with two sons and is active in a variety of pro bono services in our community.
